She has over 20 years of experience performing comprehensive eye exams, basic contact lens fittings, Keratoconus contact lens fittings, Lasik pre-and post-operative exams and diagnosing Cataracts, Glaucoma and other eye diseases.
Dr. Da Silva hails from a family that has been involved in eye care for over 65 years. She has lived in Grand Cayman for many years and is dedicated to providing her patients with the finest care. As part of her ongoing commitment to the Cayman community she assists yearly with the Lions Club Annual Sight Screenings at the schools. She is married with two daughters and enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Herman Grobler originally hails from Zimbabwe but relocated to the United Kingdom in 2001 to join his family. There, he pursued a career in optometry, graduating with a BSc (Hons) from City University of London and following in the footsteps of his two elder brothers who also specialize in this field.

Herman Grobler originally hails from Zimbabwe but relocated to the United Kingdom in 2001 to join his family. There, he pursued a career in optometry, graduating with a BSc (Hons) from City University of London and following in the footsteps of his two elder brothers who also specialize in this field.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Herman has gained extensive experience in both primary and community healthcare, including domiciliary service. His true passion lies in providing specialized eye care, a commitment that led him to achieve postgraduate qualifications of Prof Cert Med Ret and Prof Cert Glauc while working in the Ophthalmology Department at North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple, England. During this time, he contributed to medical retina and glaucoma clinics and went on to earn the DipTp (IP) qualification for Independent Prescribing.
In 2023, Herman embarked on a new chapter in the Cayman Islands, bringing his wealth of knowledge and expertise to the community. Beyond his professional life, he enjoys a fulfilling personal life, being happily married and having a keen interest in outdoor sports. His favourite pursuits include rugby and the thrill of riding motorcycles.
